DQE’s dynamic IP Division is developing several iconic properties that are reincarnations of iconic brands. This division’s debut production was Balkand – a 70’ TV Feature , Ravan a 70’ TV Feature and Omkar a 70’ TV Feature with Turner Group for the Indian Sub-continent. The success of Balkand and Ravan resulted in both the shows entering their second season of production.

This division under its mandate to develop and bring back to life classic and loved iconic brands has successfully produced ‘The Jungle Book’ in hi-end CGI for television. ZDF Group-Germany, TF1 Group-rance, NBC Universal-London, ABC Teleivison-Australia have partnered in various capacities including as co-producers for the 52x11’ TV series and 1x60’ special Feature.The series is currently in second season after the enormous global success of its first season.

“The New Adventures of Peter Pan” is a 3D stereoscopic TV series 26x22’ being coproduced with Method Animation, France and ZDF Group - Germany supported by France Televisions, De Agostini Group-Italy, ATV-Turkey, B Channel-Indonesia. This stereoscopic TV series which is pre-sold and now in production is DQE’s second International global IP.

DQE along with ZDF Enterprises(ZDFE)-Germany and Method Animation-France is currently developing a new 3D Stereoscopic HD TV series “5 & IT” for which ZDFE will hold the distribution rights for 64 countries including Western and Eastern Europe (excluding French speaking Europe, U.K. and Ireland) South Africa and Latin America.

“The New Adventures of Lassie” is being produced by DQE in association with Classic Media-USA and will bring to life the world’s most loved canine – ‘Lassie’ in co-development with ZDF Group Germany and ABC Australia in a 52 x 11’ 3D CGI Action Adventure series.

DQE Licensing and Distribution division has concluded several global and regional deals for in-door and out-door toys, plush toys, games, publication, home video and many other licensing deals. DQE has a library of over 600 hours of iconic global properties through its IP development and co-productions. This includes famous brands such as The Jungle Book, Peter Pan, The New adventures of Lassie, Little Nick, Little Prince, Tara Duncan, Casper’s Scare School, Iron Man, Skyland, Mikido, Sandra, Pinky & Perky, Large Family, Donkey Ollie, Pet Pals, And Yet It Moves, Little Leonardo and many more.

Our licensing and distribution efforts are proving increasingly successful on a global scale and have created long term and sustained value for DQE by forging new partnerships across various markets, platforms and product categories like international Home Video distribution, Publishing, Licensing and Merchandising.

DQE’s Feature Film division is the new initiative of the company to expand its product mix to include animated feature films. DQE’s 3D feature film vertical under DQE International, Ireland recently produced The Prodigies, a 3D stereoscopic animated feature for Onyx Films, Studio 37, Warner Bros & Fidélité Films - France. Currently the Company is in development of three 3D stereoscopic feature films for the world market

The first movie green lit from this new division is a $45 million stereoscopic 3D animated feature film based on Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale The Jungle Book. The film is in development with lead writing by Billy Frolick (Madagascar, Holy Cow), co-directors Jun Falkenstein (The Tigger Movie, The Smurfs, Despicable Me,) and Kevin Johnson (Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone, Astro Boy, Stuart Little), and production designer James Hegedus (Shrek). The film will be Executive Produced by Eric Rollman, previously President of Marvel Animation and prior President, Fox Family/Saban Productions for over 15 years.
